Abstract
Incoherent waves caused by multiple scattering in tropical rainfall conditions are studied and their effects on communication at millimetre and centimetre wavelengths investigated. The frequency characteristics of the received power at low, medium and high rainfall intensities show that incoherency effects can be ignored at these wavelengths
