Abstract :
This paper describes an automatic mesh generation for electromagnetic field problems using a finite difference time domain method in three dimensions. Variable meshes are discussed with regard to the discretization error and are introduced in order to reduce the computing time and amount of memory required while maintaining accurate results. Finally, the developed program is applied to a resonant cavity applicator for hyperthermic cancer therapy and the efficiency of the program is confirmed
