Abstract :
A new scheduling policy denoted least double-rate with first-come-first-served (LDR_FCFS) is proposed to improve the performance of adaptive multicast video-on-demand (VoD) systems. Simulation results show that the LDR_FCFS is very suitable for multicast VoD systems in terms of reneging probability and fairness
