Abstract
In this paper we investigate the application of a GLRT detector of multiple scatterers in SAR tomography, exploiting the sparsity assumption of the signal in the elevation direction. The GLRT approach aims at estimating the signal support (positions of the samples different from zero of the unknown sparse signal) that best matches to the data for detecting and positioning multiple scatterers lying in the same range-azimuth resolution cell.
