Abstract
New methods of automatic design, both static and dynamic, of closed housing-estate networks are described. The case of an h.v. distribution network for housing estates of several thousand to tens of thousands of inhabitants is also covered. In the static part, the following close-to-optimum values are determined: number of stations, their practical sitings, transformer ratings and configurations of l.v. and h.v. networks. In the dynamic part, the closeto- optimum strategy of housing-estate network development is selected, using deterministic programming.
