Abstract :
In this letter, we propose a tandem broadcast selective repeat (SR) ARQ scheme for satellite communications. In the scheme, the satellite operates in a store and forward manner, which minimizes the effect of the large round-trip delay. Numerical results show that the proposed scheme would largely improve the system performance.
