Abstract :
Over 100 students, their advisors, and IEEE GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) members attended the Student Reception held Sunday, May 31, 2009 at the IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation nd USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting in Charlestown, South Carolina. If you were one of the students or GOLD members who attended, I hope you were able to meet some of your new colleagues, and perhaps make a friend or two. If you were one of the advisors who attended, I hope you had a chance to learn a little about what the Education Committee is doing, and to capture some of the energy and enthusiasm of the Society´s newest members. I hope everyone enjoyed the food! It was pretty good, wasn´t it?
