Abstract :
This correspondence presents a novel approach for the design of two channel perfect reconstruction (PR) linear phase finite-impulse response (FIR) filter banks. A broad class of even and odd filter length PR filter bank cases can be obtained by simply reordering an appropriate cascade form synthesizing the polyphase components of a linear phase FIR filter
