Abstract :
A transfer function is derived for the 3-phase bridge-connected rectifier with a sampler as the phase controller which is different from the conventional inverse-cosine device. The effect of the time lag associated with the controller is accounted for in formulating the small-signal equations. The stability of the current-control loop is investigated with the aid of graphical methods. The results, in general, agree with those obtained from a physical model.
