Abstract :
Hyperspectral Imager Suite (HISUI) is a next-generation Japanese sensor that is planned to be on board in 2017 or later. HISUI is composed of two sensors; one is a hyperspectral sensor, and the other is a multispectral sensor. Synergic operation of these instruments acts an important role in the future spectral-spatial data. Regarding with Hyperspectral sensor, the onboard data correction and compression system are adopted in order to reduce the amount of downlink data as well as to realize the fine accuracy of radiometric and spectral performance after ground data processing. The investigation based on the data of the evaluation model of the instrument shows that the performance of onboard data correction can meet the requirement.
