  • Abstract
We propose a method to incorporate multi-polarimetric SAR interferograms into persistent scatterer interferometry. Since the different polarimetric SAR interferograms likely affected by different amount of decorrelation, we considered the difference of decorrelation amount between polarization by introducing probabilistic model of each polarimetric interferograms and weighting coefficient. We validated the method using numerical data, and applied to ALOS/PALSAR images acquired in full-polarimetric mode. We characterized the weighting coefficient of HH-HH/HV-HV and HH-HH/VV-VV interferograms by comparing the classification result of entropy-alpha angle decomposition method. Since the weighting coefficient reflects decorrelation ratio between different polarimetric interferograms, we found the optimal value of the weighting coefficient is related with scattering characteristics of the pixel.
