Abstract :
The function and design of software developed at the US National Bureau of Standards (NBS) to serve as a transport experiment control system (TECS) are discussed. The implementation of the TECS within a local area network testbed is described, and some limitations of TECS are discussed. The use of TECS to provide a performance evaluation of Intel´s iNA-960 within the testbed discussed is demonstrated.
