Abstract :
A recently developed frequency-multiplier system is, in effect, a group of transformers, one for each degree of multiplication. An experimental 7X unit with 60-cycle input gave a 420-cycle output approaching 90 per cent efficiency and with excellent voltage regulation and waveform.
