Abstract :
This study provides a brief overview of methods used to simulate sea clutter. It then offers a simple and flexible way of generating non-stationary coherent sea clutter that matches higher order statistics of real clutter in the time domain, as well as the shape and intensity distribution within the Doppler domain. Results confirm that the simulated signal intensity can also be well matched by the K-distribution.
