Abstract :
The authors describe a space-time decomposition (STD) approach for adjusting the array coefficients of a space-time array, which is inherently parallel and gives higher output signal-to-noise ratios than conventional approaches. The length of the training sequence limits only the number of antenna elements in an adaptive array. The length of the tapped delay lines can be adjusted independently of the length of the training sequence
