Abstract :
A new approach to avoiding crosstalk in MCM interconnects during routing is described. Crosstalk avoidance minimises the amount of rework that must be done after routing and detailed simulation have been completed, thus speeding up physical design. Routing results on benchmark designs show significant improvements over a previously used crosstalk avoidance approach in terms of wiring density obtained
