  • Abstract
    A neural network based approach for the characterisation of mobile velocity in GSM is investigated, using signal strength measurement reports of mobiles in active mode. Simulation results are very encouraging. The proposed method is computationally simple and yields consistent results for a wide range of mobile radio propagation parameters
