Abstract :
An algorithm is presented for synthesising intermediate views from a stereo image pair that attempts to produce a realistic 3D `look around´ effect. The task is accomplished by suitably incorporating a term proportional to the corresponding disparities to the co-ordinates of the `virtual´ intermediate view points to be reconstructed
