Abstract :
An analytical expression for the coupling between a rectangular waveguide and a stripline, coupled together through a number of narrow rectanglar slots, is derived. An investigation, on coupling through a long slot used as an element of a multi-aperture coupler is presented. Design for a 10 dB directional coupler using the best number of apertures is formulated. The results compare well with experimental data.
