            Abstract :
This paper describes the Microwave Interferometric Reflectometer (MIR) instrument back-end for GNSS reflectometry (GNSS-R) applications. MIR uses the interferometric (iGNSS-R) and conventional (cGNSS-R) techniques for altimetry and scatterometric observations. MIR is intended for low altitude aircrafts, and can track up to 4 pairs of satellite/reflection points simultaneously. The back-end computes real-time 2D cross-correlations in the delay/Doppler plane and performs incoherent averaging after proper delay and Doppler tracking. Initial results from ground measurements are shown.
