Abstract :
VUV photoconductivity measurements were performed on the vapor and liquid phases of 2,2,4,4,-tetramethyl pentane (TMP) and of bis(trimethylsilyl)ethane (Bis(TMS)E). The following ionization energies were measured: Igas(TMP)=9.5 eV, Igas (Bis(TMS)E)=7.55 eV, Iliq(TMP)=8.2 eV, and Iliq(Bis(TMS)E)=6.85 eV
