Abstract :
The paper exposes, analytically, the various deficiencies of simple time-ratio control circuits and proceeds to evolve a system that is capable of very high-frequency operation over an infinite current-control range. The selection of critical operational parameters is examined, and consideration is given to the improvement of the system performance by forcing of the current rise and decay times. Some practical operational aspects are also discussed.
