Abstract :
For multi-input multi-output (MIMO) interference channels, we study the precoder design for interference alignment (IA) that enables the use of low complexity detectors for joint detection. It is shown that the IA over lattices (IA-L) becomes possible for two receivers (where joint detection can be performed by a low complexity detector), while one receiver has the interfering signals over a certain subspace for 3-user interference channels. Two precoder design methods are discussed to improve the performance in terms of error probability.
