Abstract
Novel boundary conditions (BCs) which terminate propagating action potentials (PAPs) in matched impedance are described. Steady-state PAPs are stored and reused, obviating simulation of long cables to allow PAPs to approach steady state. These BCs help avoid misleading results and reduce computer time, allowing detailed representation of cardiac structures.
