Abstract :
A mathematical analysis of linear anticodes is given in which a lower bound on the minimum of maximum- Hamming distance ¿ is obtained by the application of a systematic procedure for the generation of such anticodes. For the binary anticodes, the asymptotic form of this bound is established.
