Abstract
The d.c. and impulse electric strengths of high-density polyethylene films, which were recessed and metallised on both sides to prevent external partial discharge, were measured with and without ¿ irradiation of intensity 1.4Ã104 r/h, in the temperature range from ¿196°C to 110°C. Radiation had little significant effect on the results.
