Abstract :
A novel ZnO nano-grating structure to enhance the surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensitivity is proposed and demonstrated. The grating coupled SPR was analysed using the finite-difference time-domain method. A resonance angle of 49° was measured in the 150°nm-wide grating structure with a period of 300°nm at a 30°nm ZnO thickness.
