Abstract
The cassava green mite (CGM) is becoming more and more serious with increasing areas of planting cassava in Jiangxi province. It is urgent to analyze the potential geography distribution of CGM in Jiangxi. The Suitability of CGM in Jiangxi was studied in this paper using Maxent and ArcGIS, based on the biological data, known distribution of CGM, and meteorological data from 1950-2000 years in WorldClim. The results showed that there were 4 levels of suitability assessment of CGM in Jiangxi, whose southern areas were in the most suitability. The potential geographic distribution of CGM in Jiangxi defined in this paper constructed the theory basis and technical support for scientifically forming of quarantine policy and measure for CGM in China.
