Abstract :
Nowadays traffic jam becomes a serious problem and also one of the major bottlenecks that restrict the city´s development. ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) is proposed to deal with this problem, which generally combines computer science, information system, communication and control technologies. However, many cities in the world have become so crowded in the peak time that most available route planning methods based on static city maps could not work well. In this paper, we design and implement a kind of intelligent traffic guidance system based on pricing model and dynamic toll collection policy, which includes vehicle-mounted terminal, application software and developed pricing algorithm in the server side.
