Abstract :
We saw it coming. After all, for a couple of decades, we were the ones methodically plowing the fields and planting the seeds. Yet it is taking many of us by surprise: Power electronics is everywhere, fast becoming ubiquitous, the basic technology for any and all the electrical systems and applications we need, use, or are working on. How is the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) adapting, and how is IAS changing to help you with these rapidly evolving technologies?
