Abstract :
Magnetic viscosity parameter Λ of sintered and melt quenched Nd-Fe-B magnets was measured using the constant-field and constant-rate methods. The results obtained by the two methods are compared to each other. The constant-rate method works well for melt quenched Nd-Fe-B, which has a very low reversible susceptibility. However the values of Λ obtained by the two methods do not agree with each other for sintered Nd-Fe-B, which has a relatively high reversible susceptibility
