Abstract :
This paper proposes a modified analytic formulation of iron losses based on the model of Bertotti. Two measurements allow to define the constant parameters of the model. A specific expression of the flux density takes into account the skin effect. We have tested the validity of our model on two materials (low carbon steel and NO (non oriented) SiFe). The dynamic behavior of our model is in better agreement with the measurements than the original model of Bertotti. Furthermore, we have tested the evolution of the parameters in case of magnetomechanical coupling
