Abstract :
For a compromised design of microstrip-slotline transitions with multi-arm stubs, the relation between the number of arms and the bandwidth is necessary. This issue is examined using a modelling technique based on the equivalent circuit of the transition. The technique is used to analyse two broadband (1-10 GHz and 5-50 GHz) transitions with stubs having different number of arms
