  • Abstract
    In the error-prone transmission environment, the quality of a video sequence may be damaged because of noise or packet loss. Error concealment techniques were proposed by using the temporal or spatial information to recover the damaged data. We propose a new error concealment method with a cooperative game to adaptively select the proper error concealment algorithms to reconstruct the data. By applying the cooperative game, we can effectively take advantages of both temporal and spatial information to do error concealment. Therefore, the results using our method can achieve better visual quality compared with single temporal or spatial error concealment method.
