A new approach in transistor T.V. deflection circuits

As the title of this paper suggests, a new-approach has been adopted in transistor t.v. vertical deflection circuits. A complementary astable multivibrator was used for the development of the circuit. The problem has been dealt with usual requirements of a deflection circuit of general type, 12¿ 110° picture tube. The paper discusses in detail the developed circuit and its advantages. The stability of the circuit was found to be better than 1%. A very fast fly-back time of the order of less than 1 millisecond was observed.
