Abstract :
The performance analysis of a RAKE receiver for low processing gain direct sequence code-division multiple access (DS/CDMA) systems is presented. The multipath interference effects, that have typically been assumed negligible or approximated as Gaussian noise, become significant for low processing gain systems. A scheme to accurately evaluate the multipath interference effects is proposed.
