Analysis of transistor mixer with pulse drive

The transistor mixer is analysed for square wave local oscillator drive. It is valid for low emitter currents and a wide range of oscillator crest voltages, provided the pulse repetition and signal frequencies are small compared with the ft of the transistor. This conversion transconductance is expressed in terms of new functions whose values are obtained by a digital computer and plotted as graphs. Experimental results in support of this analysis are included.
