Abstract :
With this month\´s installment, Professor James E. Brittain will step down as the author of "Scanning the Past." Jim Brittain is one of the founders of the field of electrical history, an award-winning author, and for many years he has been an active IEEE volunteer. A brief overview of his professional achievements is provided.
