Abstract :
Summary form only given. Smartphones represent a small but rapidly growing category among mobile phone devices. They bring to gether the communication capability of a phone with the data manipulation of a computer, enabling new applications. But why do we call these devices smartphones? Considered as computers, these devices are primitive, with limited storage, processing, and rendering. And they do nothing a laptop with a wideband connection couldn´t do five years ago. What´s so smart about a smartphone?
