Abstract :
It´s our annual Christmas drinks party for the neighbours, and here I am handing round the beef and cranberry vol-au-vents (bleurgh). The twins have put `White Christmas?? on repeat, Mum is perspiring over the mulled wine and Dad, in his special Christmas tie, is telling anyone who will listen why he made such a huge mistake choosing engineering as his profession.
