Abstract :
Applying 1.2-μm CMOS technology, the authors have developed video signal processing LSIs for the MUSE/NTSC converter. A MUSE/NTSC converter can be constructed easily by adding an A/D converter, a D/A converter, memory, audio signal processing, and an I/O analog processing circuit to the video signal LSI. Picture quality obtained with this converter is superior to that of the conventional NTSC system. The functions and characteristics of the LSIs are described
