Improving performance of a system by lead network and its analysis by root locus plot
Abstract :
We have chosen a simple position controlled servo-mechanism with potentiometer feedback. This is a type 1 Servo with two time lags, The block diagram and then the schematic diagram has been drawn and the open loop transfer function has been found out A lead network has been introduced in the system and the performance and stability has been analysed by root locus method, before and after intro-doction of lead netwok. The method of drawing root locus is also illustrated in this article.
