Abstract :
A study of the penetration frequency of f0F2 and virtual height h´F2 of the F2 layer over Gauhati is made from the same data for the sunspot epoch 1968-71. It is found that the anomalous behaviour and the variation with the solar activity of the said layer follow the same pattern as in other stations of low temperate latitudes in the northern hemisphere.
