Abstract
In this paper we study a generalized complexly coupled Korteweg-de Vries system that describes the interaction of two long waves, whose dispersion relations are different. Exact solutions are obtained for this system using Lie symmetry method along with the simplest equation method. The solutions obtained are travelling wave solutions.
