Some future developments in aeradio

The paper gives a very brief summary of the development of aeradio communications up to 1939 and then deals with the developments which have taken place during the post-war years. Future developments in respect of air/ground communications are dealt with and the effect of mechanization of fixed aeronautical circuits by the installation of radio teletype equipment is discussed at some length, particularly emphasizing the financial implications. Radio aids to navigation, final approach and landing are touched upon, concluding with a forecast of what might exist in 10 years time.
