Abstract :
An efficient algorithm using block Newton and chord methods for the iterative minimization of the spectral balance error in the analysis of nonlinear microwave circuits is presented. The algorithm is then used in the harmonic balance and frequency-domain spectral balance simulation of a MESFET amplifier with single-tone and two-tone excitation
