Abstract :
Based upon the results which were achieved through the investigation on the 20 mm ETC launcher, the research work has been proceeded for developing a 30 mm ETC experimental gun with the 2.4 MJ pulse forming network. Several components of the 2.4 MJ PFN for the ETC gun have been fabricated. The 61 rounds of ETC experimental ammunitions have been bred with the 400 kJ capacitive power supply system. The gun and the ammunition are being modified and improved not to have any functional problems related to the electric insulation and the mechanical strength. In late 2000, the experimental system will be assembled and the ETC experimental test will be performed with the 2.4 MJ PFN
