Abstract :
A voltage and current analysis of magnetic amplifiers in switch mode power supply applications is presented, and results are compared with those predicted by the analysis. The application of coupled magnetic amplifiers to power supplies with coupled inductors in their auxiliary outputs is given. Favorable results are obtained when control of the magnetic amplifiers is taken from the aggregate auxiliary output voltages
