Abstract :
The authors were part of an eighteen-member international delegation of data communications professionals that recently visited the People´s Republic of China. This report on computer networking in China is based on their visits to four universities and 11 government organizations in four different cities. They discuss computer systems, telecommunications systems, and data communication in China.<>
