Hamburgis the city where Heinrich Hertz was born on February 22, 1857. This was a goodreason to invite the international radar society to Hamburg for the IRS 2009 Radar Symposium. The conference was organized from September 9–11, 2009 at the Crowne Plaza hotel in the city centre.
